• 3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil, divided
• 4 skinless chicken breast, lightly pounded to an even thickness and cut into strips
• 1 package fajita seasoning
• 2 yellow onions, halved and cut into 1/4 inch strips
• 2 red bell peppers, seeded and cut into 1/4 inch strips
• 2 jalapeño chiles, seeded and cut into thin rings
• 1 clove minced garlic
• 1 tsp dried oregano
• tortillas, warmed

Serve with guacamole, pico de Gallo, and/or sour cream.

How to Make the Best Chicken Fajitas Recipe

1. In a small bowl, combine chicken strips and fajita seasoning.
2. Heat 1 Tbsp olive oil in pan.
3. Cook chicken until cooked through, set aside.
4. In the same pan, add another 2 Tbsp of olive oil over medium heat. Once warm, add the onions, bell peppers and jalapeños and cook, stirring often, until the onions are translucent and tender, about 15 minutes.
5. Add the minced garlic and oregano. Cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
