What is the Interaction Menu in GTA 5 Online?
The GTA 5 Interaction Menu in GTA Online & Story Mode is a special menu system that gives plenty of useful options and features to the player.
In GTA Online, the Interaction Menu allows you to set quick Waypoints, access the Inventory, replenish your Health, Body Armor, and Ammo, equip Accessories, use dozens of Vehicle Options, keep track of Daily Objectives and Collectibles, Enable Passive Mode, and much more.
How to open the Interaction Menu in GTA 5 Online on PS4, Xbox, PC
Below you find the instructions on how to open and access the GTA 5 Interaction Menu on all available platforms.
The Interaction Menu in both GTA Online and Story Mode can be opened with the following controls:
- The Interaction Menu on PC can be accessed by pressing the "M" key on your keyboard.
- The Interaction Menu on both PS4 and PS5 can be accessed by pressing and holding the "Touchpad".
- The Interaction Menu on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S be accessed by pressing and holding the "View" button.
- The Interaction Menu on the PlayStation 3 can be accessed by pressing and holding the "Select" button.
- The Interaction Menu on the Xbox 360 can be accessed by pressing and holding the "Back" button.

Invite to Property
If you're currently in one of your Properties (such as Apartments, Offices, Clubhouse, etc.), with this option you can quickly invite other players to your Property.
Quick GPS
Select to place your waypoint at a set location (on the GPS).

Objectives
A list of your current 3 random Daily Objectives with checkboxes showing progress.

Inventory
The GTA Online Inventory in the GTA 5 Interaction Menu contains carried items such as cash, weapon ammo, body armor, snacks, and more.
| Media Player | Cycle between found media sticks that contain music (EPs, mixtapes, live recording & more) to play in the "Media Player". |

Impromptu Race
Allows the player to host an impromptu race against other players in the Freemode session.

Highlight Player
Brings up the player list to enable a particular player to be highlighted by flashing their icon on the map.
Voice Chat
Set voice chat preferences (who you can hear and who can hear you) in Free Mode. Does not affect mission chat.

Spawn Location
Select your spawn location for the next time you enter GTA Online.

Player Targeting Priority
Set the player targeting mode. Options:
- Everyone: Treats all players (Friends and non-Friends) as threats.
- Strangers: Treat all non-Friend players as threats.
- Attackers: Treat all non-Friend players who damage you as threats.
Kill Yourself
The GTA 5 Interaction Menu also allows you to commit suicide if you want to get out of a situation. It costs $500.
- ‘Kill Yourself’ has a 5-minute cooldown
- ‘Kill Yourself’ is unavailable for 1 minute after killing another player
Enable / Disable Passive Mode
The GTA 5 Interaction Menu allows you to enable or disable Passive Mode. Passive Mode prevents physical contact with other players and some Freemode activities.
Passive Mode is disabled in Weaponized Vehicles.
GTA Online Pause Menu Options
In addition to the GTA 5 Interaction Menu, GTA Online also has the following options accessible from the Pause Menu, under "Online > Options":
